About Social Etc.

Social etc. helps time-poor businesses grow an engaged online community that builds real relationships and sells their thing.

We work collaboratively to get you known, trusted and connected with your community. We work with businesses who want to outsource all of their social media marketing or businesses who need a little bit of extra support.

We support our clients on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn. Whoever we work with and whatever platform we are on, the goal is always to build real connections and engaged communities.

Our social media management clients include Ueshima Coffee Company, UCC Europe, (LinkedIn), Toybox Charity, Milton Keynes Market, Cross Keys Woolstone, The Dolphin Stoke Hammond, Davinci Café, and Thrive Mental Health & Neurodiversity.

Over the past three years, we have helped over 80 businesses with their social media strategy, giving them the confidence to build real relationships with their community and the skills to create impactful content that helps them reach their goals.

We are a small freelance team and we collaborate with partners who are experts at what they do to bring our clients social media strategies that reach their goals.

The journey.

Social etc. was founded in May 2021 by me, Sophie. That’s right, we were in a national lockdown at the time!

I write the award-winning food and lifestyle blog, Sophie etc. which has an online community of over 30,000. My blog helps people find great independent eats and adventures in Milton Keynes and in the process, it has helped raise the profile of numerous independent businesses in the area.

Before starting Social etc., I was the Social Media Officer at Bletchley Park Trust, helping to raise awareness of the museum. I kept the online community engaged throughout the lockdowns, working with the Marketing team to develop innovative and creative content ideas to stay connected to people at home, including a virtual #VEDay75 celebration.

My expertise lies in building communities, particularly audiences within Milton Keynes. I LOVE community-driven strategies and truly believe they are the answer to a sustainable, long-term social media strategy. This is because I’ve done it myself and for numerous clients.

I live in Milton Keynes with my husband, Dan, and our crazy cockapoo, Monty.
